Experiencing Stockholm from a kayak is usually the highlight for many tourists during their Stockholm stay. The water gives a slightly calmer and more idyllic perspective in a city with an otherwise fast pace. Långholmen kayak offers tourists and Stockholmers the opportunity to be guided around central Stockholm for a few hours in two-man kayaks. Our experienced kayak guide (who speaks English and Swedish) tells you about the sights and history of points of interest along the tour. No previous experience of paddling is required. This family friendly guided tour is roughly six kilometers long, a perfect length for beginners to be able to enjoy the full experience. The tour is about 2 hours. The tour starts from Tantolunden and goes around the old prison island Långholmen, where you get nice views of the old town, the city hall and Norr mälarstrand. Then on your way back you head round Reimersholme with its old Liquor and wool factories. Even kids under 12 are welcome if accompanied by a guardian. Price 590 kr/pers. “Smooth reception, knowledgeable staff who keep track of the weather and wind. Lovely views. Overall a really nice experience” “Would like to recommend Långholmens kayak.
