Playful SUP yoga on water

Practice yoga on a stand up paddle board while enjoying the natural splendor of floating on water.

SUP yoga or Board Yoga is a great way of improving your strength while completely immersing yourself in nature.

Together we will flow through poses, focusing on our breath and moving with levity, curiosity, and freedom. Each class ends with a blissful, relaxing, floating shavasana. All levels are welcome. No experience with either SUP or yoga is necessary, only a willingness to try and the ability to swim.

This SUPYoga class gives you an opportunity to discover the amazing qualities of water combined with yoga. It is not about moving your yoga practice outdoors, but curiously exploring the interplay between your body and the board on the surface. The less static you are in your body, mind and heart, the more flow, balance and calmness you will experience on the board. The feedback is instant. Your body will love to playfully explore new as well as known yoga exercises floating on the board.

No prior knowledge of yoga, exercise or previous board experience is needed. The classes are held in both English and Swedish and do not focus on reaching perfect positions or pushing the body into different exercises, but rather moving with joy and freedom.

Rules applied to all classes of SUP Yoga:

  • Be in place about 10 minutes before the class starts.
  • No prior experience is required
  • Held both in swedish and english
  • Number of participants: max 10 persons, at least 4 persons
  • Knowing how to swim is required
  • Maximum weight: 130 kg

Good things to bring:

  • Change of clothes
  • Comfortable clothes or preferably a wetsuit
  • A warmer sweater for relaxation depending on the weather
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses if needed

SUP yoga is great for team building, bachelor/bachelorette parties, AW etc.
