Kayak delivery with DHL
Our kayaks are delivered home to the door of the specified address in your order. Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose the specific day and time of delivery. Once your kayak has arrived at DHL's local terminal, you will be notified and will have to choose the day and time of delivery. You usually get 2-3 options to choose from. DHL delivers Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. For a shipment that remains at the terminal after notification, e.g. because you do not receive the goods, DHL charges a fee per shipment and calendar day from day 4 after notification. This cost will be charged to you as a buyer afterwards.

At the time of delivery.
When DHL delivers your kayak, it is important that you check the kayak carefully before accepting the delivery. In the event of transport damage, these must be photographed and documented. It is also important that the driver takes pictures and carefully documents this before approving the delivery in writing.

It is important that after receipt of the package you unpack the kayak immediately and make sure that there are no hidden transport damage. Transport damage can occur even if the packaging is complete.

In cases where the delivery has been approved by a freight-damaged kayak without the damage being documented by the driver, Långholmen kayak disclaims all responsibility for the damage.

If your kayak is damaged by transport, it is important that you do not receive it from the driver and that you submit a written complaint to us together with pictures, both with and without packaging.
The complaint must be sent to [email protected] within 3 days.
