5 reasons to choose the large trolley

1. Built for wide hulls – fishing kayaks, double kayaks and Canadian canoes
2. 25-centimetre puncture-proof wheels – no pump and no punctures along the way
3. Foldable and 3.6 kg, so it can stay in the car all year without taking up space
4. Rubber-padded supports that hold the kayak steady and protect the finish
5. Strap included – you need nothing more to get started

Suitable for

The trolley is made for wide kayaks. It works with most fishing kayaks, with double kayaks and K2, and with Canadian canoes. If you have a narrow sea kayak or a beginner kayak, the smaller model is enough, and it is also easy to pack into the kayak while you paddle.

How to use it

Place the trolley on the ground, lift the stern into position and secure the kayak with the strap. Then walk to the bow and pull. The rubber supports keep the hull still even on uneven ground. The wheels are 25 centimetres in diameter and 7.5 centimetres wide, which is what lets the trolley roll over gravel and forest trails instead of digging in.

Large or small trolley?

Choose the large one when the kayak is wide or heavy, or when there are two of you paddling. Choose the small one when you want to be able to fold up the trolley and take it with you in the hatch during your trip.

Will it fit my kayak?

The trolley is built for wide hulls. It works with most fishing kayaks and with single and double kayaks. If you have a narrow sea kayak or a beginner kayak, the smaller model is enough. Not sure? Call us on +46 8 740 05 05 with your kayak's model and width, and we will tell you which trolley you need.

Should I choose the large or the small trolley?

Choose the large one when the kayak is wide or heavy. The trolley measures 660 × 435 × 400 millimetres and weighs 3.6 kilos. Choose the small one when you want to be able to fold up the trolley and pack it in the kayak during your trip.

Is anything else included, and do I need anything more?

The kayak trolley and one strap are included, and that is all you need to move the kayak on land. If you also need to get the kayak onto the car roof, roof racks and a kayak loader are good additions.

How to strap on the trolley

Place the trolley on level ground with the kickstand folded out. Lift the stern so the kayak rests centred on the trolley, with the trolley positioned just behind the middle of the kayak. Pull the strap over the hull and around the trolley frame, and tighten until the kayak no longer moves. Walk to the bow and pull. If the trolley tries to slide away, the strap is too loose.
