Take your colleagues on a harmonious paddle tour through central Stockholm. Since 2012, Långholmen Kayak has offered company paddling starting from the idyllic Pålsund Canal. Adventure-seekers come here to experience Stockholm and the old prison island Långholmen from a stable one- or two-man kayak. Usually the group meets at the kayak rental about 15 minutes before the agreed paddling time and gets help from our staff with everything practical: changing, storing valuables, equipment (life jacket, paddle, canopy (splash guard) and a waterproof bag). When everyone is ready, our staff gives a short safety briefing and gives some tips on paddling technique. Afterwards, participants are helped to get into their kayaks and to adjust their foot pedals. When the participants feel ready, they paddle off together, out into the calm Pålsund Channel. The journey goes around Långholmen, with views of the Old Town, the City Hall and Norr Mälarstrand. After about 1.5 hours, the group is back at the jetty again, fulfilled and happy from a wonderful nature experience.
