At Långholmen Kajak you can rent stable kayaks that even complete beginners feel safe in, and paddle around central Stockholm in cosy canals among wooden boats and sailing boats.

For a hen or stag party with kayaking, the group often meets a little before the agreed paddling time to collect equipment from our staff and to take the "obligatory" group photo.

After a short safety briefing and some technique tips from our staff, you get help getting into the kayaks and adjusting the footrests.

You then paddle off on a route suited to the day's conditions. You will get advice on which route to choose on site (or see our suggestions here). Usually it is a trip around Årsta holmar, or around Långholmen and Reimersholme.

Some groups prefer stand up paddleboards, which Långholmen Kajak also offers.
