SUP course for beginners
Highlights of the tour:
SUP PADDLING – 75 MIN
Time: Tuesdays 18:30-19:45
Location: Långholmen kayak, Långholmen. (Metro: Hornstull)
During the trip you will learn the basics of paddling, find safety on the board and you will see some of Stockholm's sights and fantastic nature from a new perspective, the waterway. On the board, you get an opportunity to create contact with your body and your breathing. During the trip, you will learn the basics of paddling, find safety on the board and be inspired to explore mindfulness on the water. At the end of the tour, we do a floating meditation lying on the boards with our eyes closed. No previous experience on SUP is necessary. SUP paddling is a perfect opportunity to familiarize yourself with a board and paddle in a quiet way. And there is no requirement that you have to stand up.
For all SUP trips, the following applies:
- Be there about 10 minutes before the tour starts.
- Level: Everyone. (No prior knowledge of paddling is required.)
- The tour is held in both English and Swedish.
- You wear a life jacket and leash that you borrow from us.
- Number of participants: maximum 10 people, minimum 4 people.
- Swimming skills are a requirement.
- Maximum weight: 130 kg
Good things to bring with you:
- Variety
- Comfortable clothes to paddle in or preferably a wetsuit.
- A warmer sweater for relaxation depending on the weather.
- Sunscreen, water bottle and sunglasses if needed.
