Obvious! We have kayaks that are stable and suitable for beginners, but if you feel unsure, we usually recommend paddling with someone in a two-person kayak, which is the most stable kayak. Our staff is available on the jetty for a routine briefing on what is good to keep in mind and will help you get in and out of the kayak.
We also organize a kayak course for beginners. You can read more about it here .

Of course, it is perfectly possible to paddle with children of different ages. When paddling with children, it is important to keep an eye on the weather and only go out in conditions that you can control yourself. If you are a very experienced kayaker, paddling with a small child in your arms in a one-person kayak is usually fine. If you are two adults, you can instead rent a two-person kayak where one of the adults sits with the child at the front of the kayak, while the other handles the paddling. If the child is big enough to paddle by himself, it also works, as long as an adult accompanies him out on the water in his own kayak and the adult feels safe in the kayak and can help the child if necessary.

All of our kayaks are stable and it very rarely happens that someone overturns. The most common is that one falls over when getting in or out. If, against the odds, you should capsize, you have a life jacket, but it can also feel safe to know that you are not stuck in the kayak but can easily get out if the accident were to happen. For your own safety, we recommend that you paddle close to land.

Wear loose and non-sore clothing for a comfortable paddling trip. If the weather is windy and/or rainy, bring a jacket and a change of clothes, otherwise sunscreen and a bottle of water can be good to have!
-
There is space with us to leave bags and shoes, but we take no responsibility for lost valuables. There is plenty of space in the kayaks for luggage and you can also rent waterproof bags (drybags) from us that you can keep your valuables in and take with you during the trip.

The season runs from 15 May to 15 September. The high season is in July – August. For paddling before and after the season, contact us for more information!

Usually there are kayaks and sups available on weekdays during the low season. For weekends, a few days notice is required. During the high season (July – August) we have a higher load both on weekdays and on holidays, so good foresight is then required.
