Havspaddeln SUP Seat Manual

These are the fitting instructions for the Havspaddeln inflatable SUP seat and footrest. With the seat you can paddle your SUP sitting down. It has a soft, foldable backrest and a cushion made of inflatable drop-stitch material. If you want to print the instructions, the PDF is at the bottom of the page.

Important: Inflate the seat cushion to 5 PSI, no more. More air can damage the cushion.

Step 1: Prepare the SUP seat

  1. Inflate the seat cushion to 5 PSI with a hand pump.
  2. Check that the zips on both sides of the backrest are fully closed.
  3. Attach the straps with hooks on both sides of the backrest to the D-rings on the sides of the cushion.

The seat is now ready to attach to the board.

Step 2: Attach the seat to the SUP board

  1. Place the seat where you want it on the board.
  2. Pull the two long straps under the board, from one side to the other.
  3. Attach the straps to the buckles on the sides of the seat and tighten both firmly so the seat is secure.

Step 3: Attach the footrest

  1. Use the buckles to attach the two D-rings on the front edge of the footrest to the D-rings on the SUP board.
  2. Attach the two D-rings on the rear edge of the footrest to the D-rings on the SUP seat.

With the right care, your SUP seat will last many seasons.

5 PSI. More air can damage the cushion.

How is the seat attached to the board?

With two long straps that go under the board and are buckled to the sides of the seat.

Where does the footrest attach?

The front edge to the D-rings on the SUP board and the rear edge to the D-rings on the seat.
