Our terms of purchase

With us at Långholmen kayak, you can order goods via our channels; website, telephone and e-mail. You can also visit our showroom at Hornsgatan 151 in Stockholm.

We reserve the right for any printing errors.

All prices on the website are stated in Swedish kronor including 25% VAT.
In the shopping cart you see the total price including all fees such as VAT, shipping and payments.

Payment takes place through the selected payment method at the checkout.
The payment method is provided by Bambora together with
collaboration partners, as well as by Klarna.

In order to be able to offer you Klarna's payment methods, we can at checkout
come to share your personal data in the form of contact details and order information with Klarna, so that Klarna can assess whether you
can choose the payment methods, as well as to customize them for you. Your personal data that is shared is processed according to Klarna's own data protection information.

Card payment
When paying by card, Visa, MasterCard and Maestro are accepted.
Your payment card is debited directly at the time of purchase.

Invoice & partial payment
In collaboration with Klarna, Långholmen Kayak offers both invoice and
partial payment. When you choose invoice as the payment method, you will receive your goods
before you pay. You can then choose to pay the full amount with one
once or split the payment into smaller parts. The invoice is due within 30 days.

You always have a 2-year warranty on new plastic kayaks and 1 year on SUPs,
inflatable kayaks and used kayaks from Långholmen kayak.
The warranty is valid from the product's original purchase date.
The purchase receipt must be presented for the warranty to apply.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and
cannot be transferred. Notification of the matter must be made within a reasonable time
(max. 2 months) after the error was discovered. If such notification is not made,
despite the fact that the buyer discovered or should have discovered the defect,
the buyer loses the right to invoke the warranty.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been used for other purposes
what the product is intended for.
The warranty does not apply to products that have been stored
or installed incorrectly, used in an inappropriate or incorrect manner,
altered or cleaned using the wrong cleaning method or wrong cleaning products. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches,
marks or damage caused by impacts or by an accident.
The warranty also does not apply to transport damage. The guarantee applies to both new and used (demo-ex) kayaks and only in Sweden.

Right of withdrawal (Cancellation Period)
When you shop with us at Långholmen Kayak, you as a customer have,
a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that applies from that date
day on which your item has been delivered to your postal agent or to your home.
If the agreement applies to a specially manufactured product or a product that has received one
clear personal mark, the cooling-off period begins to run from it
day we provided you with written information about this.

If you regret your purchase, it is important that you notify us in writing. The message must be sent to us at info@langholmenkajak.se.
In your message, your order number,
as well as which goods the return applies to, be clearly stated.

You do not have the right of withdrawal if:
From 01/12/23 we extend the right of withdrawal on all purchases until 05/01/2024.

The cooling-off period of 14 days has passed, or if the product
has been damaged in connection with, for example, test paddling and can therefore no longer be considered to be in new condition.

When you have used your right of withdrawal:
You are obliged to keep the item in the same good condition as when you received it.
If the product is damaged or lost due to your carelessness, you lose the right of cancellation.

Returns (Return Policy)
You should return the products to us immediately or
at the latest within the statutory 14 days after the cancellation notice.
You as the customer are responsible for return shipping, delivery and the condition
on the products is the same upon delivery. The returns must be sent
as a package and not cash on delivery. When returning a kayak is charged
the cost is approx. SEK 1000 – 2000, depending on where in the country you live.

Långholmen kayak is responsible for the return cost if the item is defective or
if the wrong product has been delivered.

Långholmen kayak always bears the cost of sending replacement goods.

Refund Policy: (Refund Policy)
If you choose to exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund that amount
which you have paid for the item. The refund is made as soon as possible,
but no later than within 30 days from the day we received your return.

Personal data processing
To be able to handle and deliver your order needs
we process your personal data. All our treatment of
personal data is processed in accordance with current personal data legislation.

Deliveries (Shipping)
The delivery time is normally 3 – 5 days. If a product has a
Deviating delivery times are indicated in the respective product description.

Uncollected packages with PostNord are sent back to
Långholmen kayak after 14 days.

For home delivery of kayaks, Långholmen uses kayaks
opting out of DHL as forwarder. Once your package has been registered with DHL
you will receive a link for choosing a delivery day.
DHL delivers on weekdays, between 09.00-17.00.
After you have confirmed collection with DHL
then the delivery agreement becomes an agreement between DHL
and you and DHL's terms of delivery apply.
For a consignment which, after notification, remains on
the terminal, for example because you as the recipient do not accept the goods, DHL takes
out a fee per shipment and calendar day from and
with day 4 after notification. This cost will be charged
you as a buyer afterwards.

Damaged goods and complaints
For deliveries with DHL
When you receive your kayak from the transporter, it is important
that you immediately check that your product is not
damaged or incorrect. If so, you should not accept
the delivery without allowing the carrier to return the kayak.
In the unlikely event that you discover that the product is damaged
after the delivery has taken place, you must complain
the product to us at Långholmen kayak immediately.
The easiest way to do this is to send an email with a description and pictures to info@langholmenkajak.se . NOTE! A complaint received by DHL later than 7 days after delivery is generally not accepted by DHL.

For deliveries with Post Nord
If your item is damaged or incorrect, you must make a complaint
the product to us at Långholmen kayak immediately after
the delivery has arrived (max 2 days after delivery).
The easiest way to do this is to send an email with a description and pictures info@langholmenkajak.se .

On goods with manufacturing defects, you have a 3-year right of complaint according to Swedish law.
