Why should I use a neoprene spray skirt?
A neoprene spray skirt for your kayak is comfortable and practical. You put on the spray skirt before getting into the kayak, pull it up to your waist, then sit down in the kayak and fasten the spray skirt around the cockpit. As well as keeping water out, it helps keep the warmth inside the kayak. It also reduces wind resistance when paddling into a headwind, as the cockpit does not catch the wind.

Hard-wearing neoprene
This spray skirt is made of neoprene and has a hard-wearing design. The same material often used for wetsuits makes the spray skirt comfortable to wear. At the front there is a large grab loop used to release the spray skirt (e.g. if you capsize).

The neoprene spray skirt works just as well in warm summer weather as in the colder winter months. Its taut design means water does not pool in your lap but runs straight off. The flexible material means it fits most cockpits and kayak models.
