How to use a kayak trailer
One kayak cart is very useful if you are alone or need to walk more than a few meters down to the water with the kayak from where it is stored, or from where you park the car. You can easily fold the trolley and pack it into the kayak when you set off. Using the kayak trailer is not difficult, but it is important to do it right so that the kayak does not fall off. That's why we've put together a simple guide for you to turn to here.
Step 1: Place the kayak on the kayak trailer
Place the kayak trailer next to the kayak, with the support/leg in the direction you intend to go with the kayak. Place the kayak on the kayak cart just behind the middle of the kayak, so that the cart is approximately halfway between the middle and the stern of the kayak. Make sure the kayak is centered on the cart.

Fold in the support.
Step 2: Fasten the tension strap
To fasten the kayak to the kayak cart, pull the tension strap around the legs on which the wheels are attached, this is important so that the kayak cart does not fold up when you walk with the kayak. Pull the tension strap around one leg as shown in the pictures below, then pull the strap over the kayak and around the other leg. Then thread the strap through the buckle and tighten. Tuck the remaining part of the tension strap under some elastic band on the kayak, or under the tension strap itself.

Step 3: Walk away
Now that the kayak is on the cart, you can lift the kayak by the front handle and walk away. Be aware of any obstacles on the ground, such as potholes, rocks and roots, and try to avoid them as much as possible for a smooth kayak ride.
Then have a nice paddling trip!
