Greenland paddles are also easier to paddle compared to broadleaf paddles. The reason is that the force is distributed over the entire blade, as opposed to being centered at the end of the paddle. The paddle strokes are therefore softer, which means that you can paddle longer before you get tired.

Versatile
A Greenland paddle is not specialized for a certain type of paddling but is very versatile. The shape of the blade also makes maneuvering the kayak more natural, as you don't have to keep the angle and shape of the blade in mind. Therefore, a Greenland paddle works in everything from narrow rivers to the archipelago.
