With the hybrid blade you can paddle seated on your SUP. Remove the handle from the SUP paddle and fit the hybrid blade instead. You then have a kayak paddle with blades at both ends, giving better balance and more power when seated. Together with our aluminium SUP paddle, the kayak paddle is adjustable between 202 and 220 cm.

- Perfect with the SUP seat
The hybrid blade is designed for anyone who has or buys our inflatable SUP seat (Universal). With seat and blade you turn your SUP into a sit-on kayak and can switch between standing and sitting. This saves energy on longer trips, and in rougher water you can sit down to lower your centre of gravity and reduce the risk of capsizing.

Please note that this is the blade only; no paddle is included. The blade fits our aluminium SUP paddle. It may also fit other SUP paddles, provided the shaft has notches in the side that hold the blade in place. If you don't have a SUP paddle, buy the hybrid paddle, which includes both a SUP paddle and a hybrid blade at a package price.

- Hybrid blade or kayak paddle?
If you only want to paddle seated and never stand up, a regular kayak paddle, such as our 4-piece aluminium kayak paddle, may be an alternative. However, it cannot be converted into a SUP paddle.

How to turn your SUP paddle into a kayak paddle
1. Assemble the SUP paddle.
2. Open the lock by the handle and pull off the handle.
3. Slide the hybrid blade's tube into the shaft until the lock clicks into the notch and the blade is secure.
4. Set the length, adjustable between 202 and 220 cm with our aluminium SUP paddle.

If you want to paddle standing again, do the same in reverse and put the handle back on.
